Default Question about drag race trap speed and 0-60 time.

I have been to LACR for about 4-5 times with my car by now, same with mayhan80 probably. While he had only a cold air intake he says he ran a 14.3 (not sea level) with 2.1 0-60 foot time and 94.5 mph trap speed. Now I have his old cai and he has a s/c. And we were trying to recreate that 14.3 at LACR. And even last night ( which was pretty cold up in palmdale), the best run I did was a 14.7, now here is the tricky part.
I have 2 time slips showing thatI have run 14.7 on one of the 0-60 foot time is the same as mayhans 14.3 run, 2.1 and the other one its even better 1.9. Our traps are almost identical too. So same 0-60 foot time and identical trap speed (proof that I did not misshift), how can this end with 2 different timeslips .5 seconds away? I dont get it its like measuring a ruler from 10 inches up to 60 inches and ending up with a result of 80 inches, its like impossible. What do u guys think?

Did you compare the 1/8th mile times?

If your car has more power than Mayhan's did at WOT, you could shift slower than he did, or slip more past the 60', or hook (bog) sooner than him, and end up at the same 60' and E.T..

I know you say the cars were identical but it is rare that open-loop WOT power is really identical between different cars with equal preparation.

I have one of my 14.4 slips at home, we'll compare it tonight.
