question about THUNDERHILL............

Default question about THUNDERHILL............

what kind of times are you s2000 race car owners running at this track?? also any info about tires(brand, sizes) would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

There are a couple videos of thunderhill on this site for reference: http://www.gofastvideo.com/

I think most of the guys here agree Toyo RA-1's are the best track tire considering pace and longevity. If you're on stock suspension I'd do 205/55/16 front and 245/45/16 rear. With stiffer front sway bar go 225/50 front and stay 245/45 rear.

Oops, I just went to look for new vids and I guess there aren't any of S's at thunderhill. I thought there were??

thanks guys....ive seen a 2:03, which is pretty quick...how do you guys think an S2000 with about 275hp in some capable hands would do(were talking about a full race car on 3-ways)...looking at the 25 hour as a race we might enter.

With cyclone, I'm thinking 2:07's (assuming RA-1s). Your weight and HP should make up for RL's larger tires.
