Default Questions: Helmets/SCCA numbering

First off, what does the rulebook say about the sizing of the numbers? I'm going to get a set of magnetic numbers made, and just want to make sure they are legally sized.

Another thing, Can anyone confirm or deny that you're not allowerd to put any type of vinyl decal/stickers on your helmets? I was told this by someone, and I was planning on puting some design stuff on my helmet, but if this is true, I'll have to think of something else.

Thanks!

Car numbers should be at least 8" high with a stroke of 1.25" and class numbers should be "smaller" according to the book, I personally wouldn't go smaller than 4". Contrasting colors should be used of course, and SCCA National doesn't really like multi-color numbers, outlines etc.

I have seen all sorts of stickered and painted helmets in my time and no one at any level has said anything.

If you can't drive well at least look good doing it. That's my motto
