Default Quick Brake Question

Will these fit a 2002 AP1? The listing says 2003-2005, but I've seen a slotted RDA for 1999-2003 on sale as well. Surely if its inclusive 1999-2003 then it should fit a 2002?

Hopefully someone can clarify the matter:

Honda S2000 2003-2005

Front Slotted Rotor x2

Part #RDA7594S

Rotor Type: Vented

Diameter: 282mm x 23mm

No of Bolt Holes: 5

Secondly, which type of rotor will the 2002 have?

The listing says: be aware that the S2000 was produced with 2 different Front rotor sizes, please measure your current rotor diameters before purchasing and send us a message to let us know which you want sent.

The most common AP1 and some AP2 models size is 300mm diameter with a 70mm hub hole (Part number RDA7600)

Also available is 282mm diameter with a 64mm hub hole for later AP2 models (Part number RDA7594)

Thanks for your help in advance.

As far as I know, all s2k rotors are universal to all years...

Ok - I will take your word for it. Just bought some RDA slotted fronts for an absolute steal.

Shouldn't all the front rotors be 300mm? Perhaps the listing is wrong?

Ok - so apparently from 03 and up the front rotor size went down to 282mm. This seems very counter-intuitive to me. I've asked if I can get a refund.

Just a heads up

99-2002 = 300mm front rotors
2003-2005 = 282mm apparently.

All years are the same in the US and I can't imagine it would be any different elsewhere.

Only difference was pad compound but that appears to have changed, now there's only one.

I believe the info below is correct for a front rotor

5 x 114.3 mm bolt pattern
299.6 mm disc diameter
12.6 mm bolt size
23 mm minimum thickness

Then how come they are selling a 282mm diameter rotor for the front?

Why do you believe them? Check any other resource and you will see that they are wrong

and what does this have to do with racing and competition?
