Then how come they are selling a 282mm diameter rotor for the front?
Why do you believe them? Check any other resource and you will see that they are wrong

and what does this have to do with racing and competition?
What does brake rotor size have to do with racing?

Well presumably you need to stop on the track.

Heads up to everyone with 03-5 cars:

Hi,
If your model is 2002 you have purchased the incorrect rotors. Our listing clearly stated 2003-2005 282mm rotors. This information is supplied so the buyer can check if it is suitable before purchasing.,
According to our listing supplied by RDA Brakes, from 1999-2003 were all 300mm front and 282mm rear rotors, and all models from 2003-2005 were 282mm front and 282mm rear (still different rear to the earlier model)

Why don't you check the source?

Majestic Honda Part number for both MY2002 and MY2008 front brake rotors is 45251-S2A-000.

The rotor size did not change between the years.

A few Australian people recall them changing to 282mm as well. I highly doubt it's solely an AUDM thing, what's the point?

As for checking the part numbers, I don't need to. RDA clearly stocks a 282mm front rotor for the 2003-2005 S2000, it's in their catalogue. Once again, if it didn't change, what's the pojnt in making it?

Can anyone shed some light on the matter? A few people are saying it's an RDA specific only thing, a few people are saying it's a universal thing - how could a front rotor size differ across brands for certain years? It doesn't make sense.

Honda knows our cars better than RDA. who cares what RDA has in their catalog - IT IS WRONG

All S2000 front rotors are the same, period

So RDA are making a rotor that is essentially useless...
