There was an ad in a Japanese magazine (VTEC sports) showing a quick release hub from a company called WorksBell. I'll see if I can find the price that was quoted.

HKB adapter from Sc. of Spd.

note: i believe a quick release will also result in being a spacer, so take that into account for steering wheel position fore and aft.

also, the steering column rake (ie height of steering wheel) can be lowered by shimming the 2 underdash bolts if needed. these bolts are plainly accessible....particularly in #1

I don't know what an average steering boss costs, but 29,800 yen is about $250 at the current exchange rate.
I guess the real trick is getting someone to bring it in for you though.

I don't mean to be thick and this is not in any way a flame but I have a question. What's the point in having a quick release wheel in an S2000? If you were running a cage I could understand it. I'm stumped.

I'm gonna guess that with a lowered race seat and harnesses it's difficult to get situated and removing the steering wheel would make the process easier. I sure liked it in the F1 cars we had at Derek Daly last December, and Rylan was there too.

I am going to be running a cage. Even w/o the cage try getting into a "real" race seat with the steering wheel in. It's possible but it takes a bit of practice at yoga to master it.
