I'm about to put a set of internally adjustable Koni's on my CRXsi. This is my daily driver / street car that may see an occasional autocross. Since they're internally adjustable I only want to do this one time. The previous owner suggested softer in the front and firmer in the rear. Does this sound right?
Thanks

Yes, that's right... I would suggest 1/3-1/2 in the front, and 3/4-7/8 in the back. You might not want to run it at full stiff in the back because of the street use, but if you can handle it by-all-means run them at full stiff in the back.
They should be fine... if not, then pop them back off and revalve them. And what a small world this is. When I started autocrossing it was in Bob Smith's region. I remember his old MR2's and the very CRX that rode on the shocks that are now yours. Sheesh... 6 degrees of separation, I tell ya!
How's this for small world. Randy Pobst autoxed in the club I started running in. (this part may make some of you feel old) He won the club championship the year I was Born. Best I can tell with dates and if the club held the christmas dinner the same weekend they always do now, then he may have won it the very night I was Born. Creepy Huh!
