The Camaro's nose was just inside the M3's rear bumper as they turned into Turn 1 at the end of the longest (front) straight. The Camaro was expecting to be given room at the apex but the M3 slammed the door. The Camaro turned in and rode over the apex curb but locked up his brakes and slid hard into the M3's mid section but both continued to the end of the race. It was a pretty good size dent in the M3's door area. They didn't show the Camaro enough to judge its damage.
