Understeer has been cured with more camber up front.

I was wondering more about the acceleration difference between the tires as my car feels so slow compared to Craig's. And if I were to switch for this reason, then the balance comes into play.

Pete,

You need a heavy front Bar IMO, why so stubborn?

I use RA-1's on my 17" CE28N's in these sizes:

235/45ZR17 front
255/40ZR17 rear

Diameters are pretty close. Front width is a bit wide, and will rub a bit on full compression + steering lock, unless you remove fender liners and/or flare the fenders.

Ted
Can you tell us what your offsets are. On the '05 they're +55front and +65rear factory. I don't know if they're different on the '00-'03. I just purchased a set of SSR competions 17x8 +48 front, 17x9 + 55 rear. I currently have stock sized tires on the rims but I want to put Khumo Ecsta V700's on them. 225/45r17 in front and 245/40r17 rear. On the stock wheels the Khumos are fine but I'm concerned about the wider offset rubbing.

So, can you tell me what your offsets are?

Well, the balance is pretty good now, I just want to increase front and rear traction by an equal amount. I have a 01 swaybar that I could put in (thicker wall material and a few mm larger than my MY03 bar). I'll give 225/255 a shot, if I need a bigger bar I'll get it. I want to make one change at a time so I can figure were things are, too many changes at once and it becomes hard to figure out what is doing what.

Sorry, the CE28N's are semi-common here, so I didn't post the details. Here you go:

Volk Racing CE28N
17x7.5 +50mm offset 13.8lbs
17x9.0 +63mm offset 14.8lbs
