race weight
Couldn't this have been asked in the other thread??
Do a search. I think Rylan's car is in the 23-24xx range w/ driver depending on the time of the month (he gains about 50 lbs when he's on the rag).

You posted in this thread, which is already talking about stripped out race prepped cars: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=254759
Unlimited budget? 1000 lbs and 1000 hp. You'd start with an S2000 and end up with Schumacher's car.
Realistically, yeah, you're looking at 2300 lbs. Pick up the latest Honda Tuning for ideas.

there is a asm race spec s2000 in japan which put out 293 ps on a dynopack all motor and its said to weigh in at 2100 lbs...i assuming everything is ripped out...all interior including dash and just tachometer left, also cf doors, cf everything pretty much and some sort of plastic material replacing the glass windows...probabely all other wieght reduction mods as well as everyone has stated and even maybe more..it was posted in honda-tech.com in the s2000 threads somewhere and it was stated the fastest s2000 in the tsukuba circuit
then there is the Opera Performance S, which has stich welded seams and is drilled and chamfered everywhere, not an over abundance of carbon fiber, but amazing body bracing... brought it down to 2167lbs. You can actually drive it in GT4, mmm 2100lb s2k........damn that would be amazing
