Default Rear Swaybar For '04, Recommendations

Hi,
I'm really enjoying my '04, but miss the firmer back end of my '01 Will a rear swaybar alone fix it. I'd like it to handle more like my '01. I'm not interested in a stiffer ride, or doing anything to the front. Just hoping some one has some input for the '04 which really is a different beast when it comes to handling. (Kit? any input?)

Have you tried a more sporting alignment yet? From what I recall when the '04 first came out, the factory alignment on the new cars is biased towards understeer with woefully inadequate front camber.

The right alignment could make that happen for you, I think. I'm sure some '04 autocrossers can recommend improved specs.

Hi Andy,

I have an '00 rear bar sitting here collecting dust. Its yours if you want it.
I believe the '00 & '01 have the stiffest rear bars but i might be mistaken.

I have a 30MM Mugen rear bar for sale; I believe that is the stiffest rear bar for sale.

It does make the car lean less and makes it really aggressive in switchbacks.

I have an 04 and an alinement will fix the understeer. You can make it as tail happy as you want. You don't need a rear bar.

Ken, what are your alignment specs? I had mine done to the UK specifications and it didn't help much. Possibly not aggressive enough...?
