Default Rear toe question

I went to a new shop for alignment yesterday (my car is just going used for the street now)

I gave them the UK alignment Honda print out.

It clearly specifies degrees, the head shop guy said "that's a lot of rear toe" I agreed but that's what Honda recommends.

Just looking at the print out The camber is listed as -1.0 and -2.0 degrees (the little degree character is next to the number)

For the TOE The print out shows 0.20" per side. Did they give me toe in inches and not degrees?

If I calculate this right rear toe in inches should be 0.086" correct?

The "UK alignment" was for approx 1/4 inch total rear toe in.

In degrees they had it at 20 minutes for each wheel (ie. 2/3 of a degree for total toe).

[edited to fix unit error]

Not per side. Just go with .125 inches per side (.25 inches total).

Unless you have the bumpsteer kit, in which case toe should be about half of that.

Dude, I told you. Twice. Do a search for it if you don't believe me.

Sorry, I just need to explain to the alignment shop that the Honda printout I gave them does not equate to inches.

I don't want to have to pay for another alignment; I stupidly assumed they could read this.

Here is a image of the alignment print out

If I understand correctly the rear toe shoud read somthing like 0.12" per side.

How do you convert seconds to inches?

Yeah, 0 degrees 20 minutes is going to look a LOT like 0.20 inches if somebody isn't warned that the units are in angle instead of length.

BTW, Sorry for misstating "seconds" rather than "minutes" previously.

Basically, you could argue that it was a simple mistake on both your parts and hope they will just retoe it for free. But I wouldn't get too huffy. The tech did come back and warn you that there was something funky with the spec for toe, and you did just let him go ahead and make the units error.
