Default Rear tow hook help

Last fall I ended up on a tire wall when my wheel sheared off. While towing my car off the wall they snapped the Oem hook leaving the stud in place. I've tried several times to get the stud out but it's jammed in place and won't budge. Last easy out attempt resulted in a broken bit now lodged in the pilot hole. Has anyone found an acceptable substitute to mount a rear tow hook? I need something that is track worthy...not bling. Also...where is the best place to mount it on the rear? Any help is appreciated. My track car is a 2006.

You could maybe try doing what this guy did but use a strap instead, you'll likely need to make a slot in your rear bumper. Or get a used bumper bar on eBay

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping to find something that works with my current setup but that may not be possible.

Maybe you could weld a nut or bolt onto the broken end of the toe hook to get it out. Or first try removing the broken easy-out, give the toe hook some PB Blaster, and then try again, maybe with a larger easy-out.

As above, weld a large nut on<weld in the nut hole> and the heat from welding will enable removal easily.you will need to protect paint work

That may end up being my only option if I can't find another option. Gonna try to grind out the extractor tip stuck in the stud and see if I can try another extractor. Don't plan on needing a tow in the near future but you just never know
