If you take a pair of size 12 shoes, it's about 90 sq/in or .66 sq ft, therefore a 200lb person standing is exerting approx 300 lbs/sq ft. Its actually more than that because size 12 will overhang the 10" chord and therefore concentrate the weight more.
The 68" Kognition wing is about 4.74 sq ft so that's 300lbs x4.74 sq ft = 1422 lbs over the surface of the wing.

Keep in mind he's standing at that force in the center of the wing, the most vulnerable area.

Test it; Just put a piece of 3/8" wood on a couple of pieces of 2x4 on edge, 30" apart, where the uprights would be and try it. I did it with 1/2"x 5"wide plywood (didn't have a 3/8" piece). No problem lying on it. Stand on it and snap!

Marketing, yes
Gimmick, no

BTW Mike will make the wing any width you want. From as small as you like up to 78".

Do you have any pics of the mount? Do you know anyone who is using this wing?
