What kind of horsepower gains are you looking at by removing the a/c?

None, tho the benefit of weight savings can be expressed in terms of HP when compared to a car of stock weight. It goes something like this, every 10 lbs of weight savings in a lite S2K is equivalent to 1 HP extra in a stock S2K. I probably have that 10lbs = 1hp figure wrong but its probably pretty close.

-as I understand it-

It changes and depends where you start measuring from.

If you start w/ a stock at 2750lbs & 240hp is 11.48 lbs per hp. So every 11.48 lbs you remove would be the same as adding 1 hp to a 2750lbs car.

To revive a OOOOLLLLLDDDD post, can the lines be capped to avoid tearing the underdash out? What belt sizes are you guys using?

NVM about the belt size, still wondering about the line caps for the A/C, I want to do this to prevent contaminants so I can easily restore it to OEM. Thanks in advance, shock.
