Default Replacing coilover springs

Hey guys -

I'll try to be quick. I want to put 12kg swift springs on the front of my KW shocks. I want to only run a pair in the front for now. My big dilemma is that these shocks are 1/2" longer than the KW springs that come with the shocks and are on the rear.

Is this going to cause some sort of imbalance in the way the front and rear correspond? Or am I overthinking things? I know I need to adjust the height to get it back to where it was prior - but after all that is said and done will there be a difference? I know different length springs tend to react differently so that is my current concern.

Grateful for any and all help. Thanks guys!

You should be fine with 1/2" longer springs in the back compared to the front.

The longer spring will be in front but I assume it makes no difference right Rob? Thanks for the info.

I don't think it will matter at all. My Ohlins currently have 7" springs up front and 6" springs out back. No apparent obvious issues.

If it fits it makes no difference on length.

For V3s make sure you order 60mm I.D. spring.
