The car is incredible with the Comptech bar. Period. With Hoosiers (prone to wheelspin) and on super-sticky concrete on an 85 degree(yay!) day we NEVER ever spun the inside tire once, and that was with the stock shocks...
Quick and dirty highlights of the day: Arrived from the 24 hour drive at 8:30 in the morning, almost died in the tow-vehicle in Cincinnati. Some moron spun in front of me on a hilly/curvy highway. I couldn't stop in time, and had cars to my side. I squeezed the truck/trailer in between the now parked in my lane spun car and the other traffic... waaaay too close for comfort.
Ran about 12 runs on one set of tires and set them aside for the Pro on Saturday. Ran about 36 runs on another set, and wore maybe 25% of the tread off. Times? My best=30.6, Brad=31.8 and Juliann=33.7. For comparison, Sam Strano (National caliber all the way) had a best of 32.5 in F-Stock, national level BS guy ran a 31.8... In fact, Brad was one of only 2 stock-class car in the 31's and I was the only stock-class car in the 30's.
In fact, I was the fastest non-mod class car today. That includes all Super-Stock and a couple BSP vettes. Wow... I am so impressed by this car's speed. This should be an amazing weekend!!!
Stay tuned, we'll be posting pics later tonight!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Awesome results. I am so glad you picked the S2K, Jason, as the tool to exhibit your driving skills. Makes me even more proud to own the S2000; what a car!
Best wishes for the weekend!

Way to go guys!!! Glad to see all my sweat and blood (at least Greg's blood) is paying off.
The graphics look great! You guys owe Pete.
Wish I could be down there with you guys. Sounds like the F150 sway bar is doing wonders for you. Keep up the good work and report back soon.

Jason,
Mind sharing what your alignment settings are? I have -1.6 in the front and -2.0 in the back. Both of these are with me in the car. I'm planning on running Kuhmo's on the car if that makes a difference.
Also - anybody car to recommend tire pressures for kuhmo's. This will be my first time on them. I've been running the S02s at 36 psi.
The car is going in to the shop for my custom bar this weekend.
Good Job with the times - though you might want to slow down (and not get us reclassed into SS)!!
Thanks,
Etgar

Any comments on basic balance? oversteer, push.
How about front vs. rear tire wear?
Are you having doubts about the need for shocks?
