Is this little POS the one most of you get to trailer tires? I am wondering if it is wide enough to fit all four tires accross in the front "cradle" I'll probably put a floor and box on the back half.
My friend Ole and I spent a lot of time putting together 2 FAQs, one on Da'Lan hitch installation and the other on trailer construction that have disappeared from the Library for the second time. I'll post them here if you wish.
As a teaser, here's the finished product (I have since added more platform and moved the box rearward):
The reason for this question is we are trying to determine how much room there is between the left and right side of the trailer frame so we can be sure the tires nestle down between the side rails as in your pic.
And another question for you Doc, do you carry a spare trailer wheel/tire and if so where?
And does anybody know what the real difference is between #90153 and #35967?

I see 90153-4VGA at 1,075 lb. capacity and 35967-1VGA as 1,060 lb. capacity as the only real difference. Is there such a thing as going for too high of a load capacity and having the springs so strong/stiff that the trailer constantly bounces?

Yes, that is exactly the trailer that I use.

Doc, please post the "how to". also, can you give us the inside rail-to-rail measurement for the tire cradle section? I want to know if the typical Hoosier package will fit in there. Your's looks pretty close. Are those the same width as the 225 front 245 rear Hoosier?
Thanks for the reply.
Triple H, any chance of a group buy on the Hamm Hitch?
Just ordered this one an hour ago. Its $10 cheaper for the same chassis and has a leaf spring suspension which will make it more stable at freeway speeds.

Coral Doc says it won't fit a set of 225 and 245 Hoosiers in the cradle!
You must be a mind reader (or a reader of an old thread) . A set of Kumho V700 tires (225 front & 245 rear) on stock rims BARELY fits. That's what's pictured above. A set of Hoosiers will not fit betwen the frame, but I plan to move up the support brackets to accomodate them. It will have a higher profile as a result. My next post will contain the FAQ material.
