Default roll bar/cage

Does anyone know who makes roll bar or cage?? The clubs that i usually join change the rule recently. Now, all the convertibles require to have roll bar or cage in order to run on the track.

Are there any bolt on ones?? i don't like the mugen roll cage because it requires to cut two holes on the dash. If i get a custom made taller roll bar, i afraid that the soft top can not be closed.

Anyone can help?

Thanks.

This has been discussed before - I suggest doing a search. Cusco makes a roll bar for the S2000, and some have had custom fabricators do the job.

I've a custom made 4 pt roll bar on my S. It bolt onto the the stock roll hoop location so no cutting or drilling is required.

SilverAP1,

that's a pretty nice setup!

If you don't mind my asking, how much did it cost? Do you have details on the materials used (i.e. type and thickness of tubing)? Would this pass SCCA rules? Have you given any though to a way to clean up the appearance on either side of the glove box/secret compartment?

Thanks,

Ted

Determine if that setup will meet your needs with whatever sanctioning body you are racing with BEFORE doing anything. NASA is sanctioning a honda spec "east coast" series next year and they are pretty specific - has to be a CAGE, have door bars AND a HARD TOP.

I'm trying to find a solution (i don't care if its permanent or NOT) that will ALSO work with the soft top. So far . . . no dice.
