running a roll bar / cage without a harness?
that's more dangerous even if you pad the roll bars.
when you crash the human neck can stretch quite far in directions you have never imagined. you might want to get a harness....
better go all out and be safe than sorry

i thought the stock s2k roll hoops were good..
i know someone who rolled his s2k on the canyons and he's still my banker

keep everything stock and everything will be good.

some people say if u get racing seat, then u must get harness.
some say if u get roll bar, get harness, but racing seat isn't mandatory.
everyone's approach will be different but as far as i know, the stock safety components are good.

there's alot of interior that will absorb the shock anyways. so don't take any of that stuff out.

Thank you I'm very excited about this. I won't get to drive the s very after he is born. At the moment I drive it a few times a week I also have a 2002 Sentra Spec v I/H/MP/E/ 80 shot of spray I drive mostly.

Not to be argumentive, but this is not true. You do make a valid point though: in the event of a collision, you run the risk of hitting your fragile skull on the roll bar. Not good. However, harness or not the neck still has a free range of movement. A harness will not significantly affect that... hence the creation of the hans device. Furthermore, wearing a harness significantly limits the drivers ability to move to view blind spots, is uncomfortable, requires a proper seat, etc. The stock seat belts are your best bet for street use... roll bar or not.

I do agree that the factory roll protection is sufficient for street use.
