Recaro Pole Position with Schroth Clubman III

And Jaku, I see your point but I don't think that people should be punished for running the correct roll bar geometry which requires removal of OEM roll hoops...the position of the harness bar on the other harddog bar that integrates the OEM roll hoops is HORRIBLE...after all there's no points added for turning your passenger side seat into a racing seat, just for complete removal...there are many areas of the rules that are not picky on weight, so if we do chose to attack a certain area it shouldn't be one that will discourage proper safety...that's just not in the spirit of the challenge in my opinion.

Fil, I just may have to pay you to install one for me

I'll probably trim the interior pieces and maybe even install a softtop!

First LHD Type-S anyone?

kinchu, think you could do me a favor and push the seat as far back as it'll go on the rail and take a pic? I'm curious to see how much the seat sits more under the rail when farther back. I'm 6'1" and looking at the exact same seat and rollbar setup for my car. Also, could you pm me where and for how much you got your seat? Thanks.

^^^ I'm 6'1 + and have the same seat (Recaro pole position) and fit totally fine.
I'm getting the same bar and it works too!
Neighbor from Kinchu.

Happy 4th everybody

How's the Schroth harness in regards to comfort. I'm honestly just worried about the sub straps since they are wider than their other harnesses.

Mike, I'll help you for free dude...beers

sjs0433, I'll take a pic next week, left my camera in LA

Happy 4th Ben! Come to Newport tomorrow...BBQ! call me

AP2uner, I'm no expert on harness comfort, but the anti-subs have been fine so far...I have heard that hybrid anti-subs are MUCH more comfy since they wrap around your junk...one comment I can make is that the quick release / camlock seems easier to use on the Schroth than it is on my Sparco, for what it's worth.

EDIT: sjs0433, I just remembered why I can't get you a good pic...my seat is so low that it won't go back much farther because of that tunnel hump thing...I even removed the carpet down there, it's a super tight fit...I'm 6'0" and I can still go back 2 clicks from ideal position, but no more than that
