Shawn Church claims the TODA's gave 'his' (not sure if it's his or he sponsors it or what) race car 5-6HP.

AP2 exhaust cam gives a little better low/mid end power versus the AP1, while the the AP1 is better up top. This is hearsay btw.

AP1 intake cam is *I believe* better across the board. Again hearsay.

Jim, Here's Shawn's contact info:
http://home.earthlink.net/~spchurch/...motivetesting/

Anyone within a 1/2 days drive from Shawn is silly to go anywhere else.

We have 2 great tuning resources in CA. Shawn Church in LA and Shad Huntley (formerly of comptech) in Sacramento.

Thanks, Krazic (and lucas) for moving this forward. I got my cam specs from a friend (quickest s2000 I've ever heard of... N/A, on gas 7.99 at 165mph in a dragster BTW) and they seem pretty right on. Just got to spend some time degreeing in the stock cams, also my F22C cams while I'm at it, before I try actually running my Cam Motion cams (no power robbing V-TEC, .562" lift at the valve).

And just yesterday, (after 15 days to clear customs, I got my Jenvey throttle bodies. They are soooo cool (www.jenvey.com). Going to the salt next week but I'm going to stay bone stock on the F22C motor to try and put my girlfriend into the 200 mph club. Two "soft" records, 221mph on gas and 223 on fuel. The car runs 235-240 in fifth, 260-270 in 6th so it should be a lay down. If it doesn't rain!!

THEN I'll put it all together, Meaux ported head, Cam Motion amd Jenvey to see if there's at least 310 to 320 hp at the flywheel out of one of these things. Should be relatively "easy", I mean there's 185 ft lbs of torque at the tire (up from 148 with the F20C) so all you have to do is give it some "breathing room" and spin it.

Anyway, all the best in your roundy round endeavors.

Naw, sorry, Krazik. We stopped doing opposite return runs about 4 years ago when a guy died after a triple chute failure on a 420 mph return run. So now we tow back and do our "return" runs (one qualifier and one return run needed for a record) in the same direction. Sorry to disappoint you ;-)

All the best,

Jim
