S2000 Challenge Series Events
'Nother question for the Speed Ventures crew: are you guys doing an event at Portland this year? I heard that the Spokane event was canceled, but never heard anything about PIR. It's not on the schedule, though.
Thanks,
Ted
Thanks,
Ted
Ted,
PIR said they couldn't help us this year after saying they could give us a Sun/Mon. date. I'lll keep on them for next year and possibly pick up a dropped event his year.
Spokane is not cancelled yet. It's tentatively scheduled for May 3,4. But I'm still waiting to get final confirmation from them.
In '04 we should have PIR and Seattle if things go well in spokane.

Aaron,
thanks for the update. I'll add your tentative Spokane dates to my northwest track schedule post ( https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=98084 ). Do you know if you would be able to set up your AMB system if you do the event? So far we've only been able to do BMW club schools there, and they're strictly no-timing, so that might be a draw (or really scary
).
Please let me and jerrypeterson know if it looks like Spokane will happen so we can work on drumming up interest. You'd get more turnout for Seattle and Portland, due to shorter drive times and more well-known tracks, but Spokane is a very fun track.
Thanks agian,
Ted
