All those custom fabricated parts would add up, and I would still be left with something that isn't rated past 450HP (quoted from alvanderp).
That's a figure Quaife quoted to a friend of mine that spoke to them at PRI for the 6-speed H-pattern dog box, not the sequential. You'd really want to talk to Quaife or their NA distributor to get true numbers for what the 60G can handle. And yes, the sequential box is going to be significantly more expensive than the H-pattern.

Yeah, I understood that it was the h-pattern gearbox. But since this topic is about potential dogboxes and not sequential transmissions, I wasn't more specific about it. I wouldn't look at a sequential gearbox either way, since it would automatically bump me up two classes in the series I plan on running the S in.

I wouldn't mind having a 60G, but I would prefer to spend less money than what they are asking. M-Factory is a reputable company, and if they could produce a product at the right price, I would be inclined to give them the sale. Until a better priced sollution comes around, I will have to stick with the stock gearbox....

I know the Ikeya is no dogbox nor a real sequetial gearbox but they list that the product is available for the s2000.

Or did they never release the product

Dear Mr. S***** :

Happy New Year to you, too. In the video, you see the prototype paddle shifter for the S2000. The actual paddle shifter is still undergoing extensive testing to ensure its safety and reliability. I’m really sorry I can’t give a firm date when we will begin selling it. I realize you have been waiting for a long while.

We wish you lots of success in the New Year.
Sincerely,

Keiko Ikeya

Meh, Ikeya makes good stuff, but they are pricey. Their suspension parts are rediculously more than what they are worth....

Im still trying to source an extra trany to send to m-factory for them to make measurements.

Question, does anyone know if the cases are different between the ap1 and ap2. if not then one gear set could be made for both. if there is a difference then they will need both an ap1 and ap2 case and gear stack to measure out.

Im not giving up on this i just need a little time and help.

I have a spare working AP1 at disposal, but wouldn't waste my time shipping it unless I got a gear set installed for nothing haha. They can have it for as long as they need it though.

If you let them borrow your trany and buy the gear set ill see to it that you get the gears installed with no labor cost.

That is provided 10 orders for the gear sets get put in to make it happen
