Ok before we start talking about Evo's....
Let not forget that a well tuned Evo on R comps are crazy fast. I think the WORKS evo was running 1:11 lap times.
Even with AJ-R's S2000, I don't think I can touch them.
I have respect for fast evo and sti's.

Elistan: I indeed had a chance to have back to forth runs with the wing and without. Unfortunately, i don't have any valid lap time comparisons since i never got a clean lap without the wing. Rob and I made changes to my tire pressure as well as swap the wing onto my car for my time attack session and I immediately felt a difference in rear end grip. With the wing, the car had less tendency to oversteer on sweeping turns, allowing me to open up the throttle more while still feeling planted to the ground. The car also felt a little bit more stable in technical sections with lower speeds, but the effect of the wing wasn't as great. Overall, the wing gave me more confidence to push my car harder. Its a great mod and even better if you like that "racer" look
.
Nice job guys.
I was there on saturday in another Turbo MR-S. I did a couple of sessions before the shift-linkage broke and I had to retire. I expected that track to be more suited to cars with power but it was the opposite. Most of that track favored cars with better handling.
BTW: On Saturday a red S2k in the beginner group spun on the main staight and hit the wall sideway. The car was totalled. The whole passenger side of the car was gone. Fortunately no one was hurt.
