S2k not allowed at Thunderhill?
I was planning to attend HPDE at Thunderhill and found this:

I drove my s2k at Thunderhill before, is this specific to HPDE organized by Thunderhill or is it a new regulation? Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure they allow our car there. I've driven that track a couple of times and Speedventures has an event scheduled there in a couple of months. Sometimes track's have the official rules and a separate set of real rules. That way if they don't want to let a particular car on the track they can point to the offical rules but in reality they usually let cars on unless they're obviously unsafe. I'd call and ask.
Actually I remember reading that the Thunderhill HPDE only allows convertibles with hardtops. It doesn't make much sense because I'm sure aftermarket rollover protection would be much better suited for a rollover situation than an aluminum hardtop.
