Its not that the bar is in the way, you just can't use a harness with it in...its too low.

That's why I cut mine in half, so I can switch setups with having to take Out the entire rollbar

I am about 5'10" 160lbs Sparco Evo fits me perfect, pro2000 is little too wide for me, Rev is good but doesn't hold as good as evo. Bride zeta 3 is good but for FIA model I rather get sparco because of the price different.
Buddyclub rail is more lower than most other brand rails, if you get buddyclub rail I would highly recommend to get pair of FIA side plates.

i have the Hard Dog version that retains the bulkhead. the harness bar is too high, so i made a custom mount to move the harness in a better location. i use the 3 point seat belt on the street and use the 6-point on track. also, please consider using a HANS type device if you're going to use a harness.

You guys out west are so lucky that you can get on track without a rollbar. You just won't find that out my way. A rollbar is a must if you want to get any track time.

Since the OP has an AP2, I believe more seats will fit while still leaving the door panels in. In the Sparco line, I believe only the Rev Plus's will allow for installation in an AP1 without requiring trimming of the shoulders in order not to rub at all on the interior pieces. Drawback is that anything over a 33" waist makes it difficult to get into/out of. For the record, I'm 5'8", 160 lbs and use the Rev Plus.

I do not hear any of you talking about the utilization of a Head/Neck restraint. Disappointing. I'm not sure what to make of the Sparco seat specs listings with regards to Hans-type of devices, but only the Rev Plus, Evo 2 Plus, Circuit line, Po ADV, and S-Lite have a "YES" in the Hans column. The Rev Plus, at 15.9 lbs, is the lightest, non-cf seat offered by Sparco in its Competitive line.

Another for HardDog bars.

I've used Taitec rails(sliders) since 2006. Only one problem- more of an inconvenience- the lever arm on one side broke off. It does not, however, negatively affect the rail's sliding motion.

We're probably the worst when it comes to safety in Socal. William is like our safety monitor when it comes to tracking. We break track records in shorts and a t-shirt (look at Manly).

Short sleeves has made its way into HPDE and even TT's this past year at some events. Before this year, it was unfathomable. But shorts? You've got to be effin kidding.

Shorts won't get you killed, but pants might provide just enough fire protection to allow you to exit the vehicle before severely burning your legs.

I use custom roll bar with welded harness bar sparco sprint 5 seat with buddy club rails. I removed bulkhead and most trim panels , Roll bar and safety eq for me is more for safety than just getting on the track . does anyone have the sparco print 5 other than me .
