Thought I would mention it since the MSR page has not been updated yet and even the SCCA page still has original dates on it in some spots. But Spring Nats will be August 19-23 this year. Yep ... just a couple of weeks before nationals! So lots of Lincoln concrete in a few weeks time I guess.

 

Interesting... I was gonna do fall nats for the first time this year. With this scheduling change, I'm wondering how feasible it is to do summer nats that week and get a storage spot to keep the car, fly back home, fly back out to do fall nats. I saw that SCCA is looking into storage. That could actually be a really cool setup, depending on cost.

 

I was planning to hit a lot of the national tours on the west coast this year and hit the Nationals. I guess we'll see at this point.

 

I was going to run in F street this year as I'm likely selling the S2000, but I just bought the car and figured I could get 4 or 5 events with MAC and my local events. Looks like I would have no events prior to the original dates, so this may make me reconsider. I plan on doing an STR build for next year, but in a Miata... Still know I'm not at a nationals level, but we'll try!
