"tennis elbow"(lateral epicondylitis) is lateral elbow pain, not medial. You may have irritation of the ulnar nerve or cubital tunnel syndrome secondary to your mechanism of injury. Otherwise, you probably have type II monkey spanker's disease and should lay off the one-eyed yougart spitting snake during the Auto-X season. Any questions, ask Rylan(krazik) 'cause he has the relapsing hairy palmed variation of the disease, he's been diagnosed incurable.

No charge.

I'm also a climber with chronic tendonitis in my right elbow. But Autocrossing doesn't bother my elbow at all.

I guess sfphinkter is right--you must be spanking the monkey too much.

For some reason when I posted this I just knew it would turn blue.

And I have perfected a wrist biased technique so I don't think that it's originating from mastering my domain.

I think that the evaluation of me using my arms to hold myself in my seat is probably an accurate estimate and this may explain some of the variance from run to run.

Saddly it looks like I'll have to stay off the walls for a while to heal up. It's tough for me to not climb since it's my primary form of exercise.

Get yourself something called a Dynaflex ball. It's a plastic ball with a gyroscope inside. The gyroscope creates resitance, which works your arm muscles. Tendonitis is often caused by muscle imbalance, so using the dynaflex can help build the opposing muscles.
EMS carries them. It's helped my elbows a lot.
