Default Sparco Evo2 Big Boy Seat installed

This Sparco Evo2 is probably as wide as you can go without removing interior parts. It's pushed as far right as it will go and rubs hard on the leather center console and just barely touches the door, no dent or slamming required though. With Buddy Club Rails it just barely fits between the sill and the trans tunnel. I think it's unlikely that this seat will fit with conventional side mounts. I tried to install with Recaro sidemounts and rails welded to a Planted lower bracket and just couldn't make it happen.

The cubby still opens, though will hit the seat a little bit. The door closes without issue.

I tried the same with BC rails but couldnt get it to fit after a few hours so I applaud you for getting it to go in. I got the the planted universal side mounts after my failure and wanted to bolt them directly to the floor but chickened out. I used the PCI bracket and its exactly the height and distance I need from the pedals. An inch either way and I wouldnt be able to fit or be comfortable. I like the seat but probably going Circuit 2 when I get a chance for downtime. If youre really thicc in the hips, have an Evasive rollbar and over 6' this seat isnt for you but change any one of those and youll be ok.

I just finished putting a Circuit in mine, you're going to need to 'clearance' the area near the shifter as the bolsters are so tall that they sit level with the top of the column.

What? My Circuit fits very well. Clears the door, no tunnel mods. I have no glove box but doubt it would open.

Mine also clears the door, unlike my Evo did. It seems like the console gets wider towards the front of the car.

Anyway, this is what I was looking at before I added room on the tunnel side. Trimmed the leather along the side and massaged the tunnel. Could have probably dropped the front of the seat in the side mounts too, but I like the seating position I have.

Can you detail how you used buddy club rails with the evo 2? I tried using the low down rails when installing my evo 2, but couldnt get anything to fit. ended up making a custom fixed mount. how tall are you? im 6-1 and needed all the room i could get. thanks!

Im curious as well. Im 6' and if the PCI mounts didnt work Id have to go custom. If I was 6'1" like ^ then Id be in the same predicament.
