Hey, I have a rewelded BC driver seat rail you could borrow until you get your new rails in. My car's under the knife and won't be coming out till late March/mid-April.

You need both driver/passenger?

I called sparco and they said well we are aware of the problem and some times they fit and sometimes they dont (his trying to blame Honda)... What an answer. I spent over 6K with Sparco and they cant even give me a right answer.

I put a Taitec seat rail in our car a couple of weeks ago, and it fit very easily.

Not sure if I made it clear, but my sparco rail doesn't fit either. No amount of adjustment could make it work. The rear mounting hole, closest to the door, is off by about 1/4" at best.

yea thats the problem i had. no way you're going to jimmy into the spot.

i cant believe something like this could get pass quality control and they're not actively helping people resolve the problem.

I had actually ordered Taitec rails, but had to cancel because they were on back order 4-6 weeks. I then found out that the Spacro Evo seats were too wide to fit taitec rails anyway. I still may buy them in the future and have them modified to fit the Evo seats.

At least I got the seats in in time though..that's what matters.

I had to ditch the sliders all together and mount them directly to the bases because i wouldn't pass the "broomstick" test (and i'm only 5'6", 110lbs!). The PCA wants a 2" clearance for the broomstick test, which I do pass, but im not sure the average instructor will. Hopefully they'll look the other way if I have a taller instructor.

After all i've been through with these seats, and all the extra money spent, i'm relieved to have them in and ready to race.
