Default odd seat bolts

I'm trying to remove the seats on my 2005 S2000, but I can't find a socket that fits the front bolts anywhere. It looks like it should be about 12mm, but 12mm is too small and 13mm is too big. Also, 7/16" is too small while 1/2" is too big.

The standard 14mm fits perfect on the rear seat bolts. What's going on here?

are your front bolts disfigured or stripped. 12 mm was the size of my front bolt. also try using a 12pt socket

They look perfect, no scratches or anything.

I'd try an adjustable wrench but the ones on the console sides would be hard to get a good grip on.

They are 12mm. Not sure why your socket doesn't fit but as some one else said, try gentle persuasion.
