Default Sparco Seats

After visiting OG Racing yesterday and trying many different seats I'm still left unsatisfied. Finding a seat that fits correctly while providing the support I want is a difficult task. Searching here brings up seats that don't seem to fit my needs.

What I'm looking for:
-Manageable to get in and out of. I still drive the car on street and don't want to have to crawl out of the car.
-5 point harness acceptable
-Improved lateral support for HPDE
-Price 5-700 per seat
-Comfort, which is subjective

I've stayed away from most fixed back seats because getting in and out of them is a challenge. I have found the sparco street roadster, which looks like a reasonable match for my needs. However, it's difficult to see the level of lateral support that it provides.

Search brings up bits and pieces of info but no real in depth information.

Any experience here with the seat? Any other seats I should be looking very closely at?

I think finding a seat that fits you is like finding a helmet, you have to try out a bunch and see what you like. A lot of people on here love Brides, they like the bling name but also the fit. Me personally, I hated them because I was too big for them. I would say pinpoint a few seat you think you might want, then go sit in them. Either find a distributor or someone off the forums that might have a pair.
My personal opinion would be to try out some Recaro's as well. I got a pair of recaro speed's with brackets for a grand when I had a STi, so they would be in your price range as well

The main problem I have with Bride is the $$texas$$ price tag.

I've emailed OG racing to see if they can get the sparco roadster in.

I agree with the fit comment. I had a few I thought I would be interested in when I went to OG racing yesterday and only one really felt good. That happened to be discontinued and only stocked in blue, which doesn't work with my NFR s2000.

I have a Sparco Sprint which is FIA approved.. for $350 you can't go wrong with a sprint.

I'm about 5.11 @ 190lbs and I fit great. Drove it 3+hours to the track and it was comfortable more so than the stock seats that always make my back hurt.

I have same sparco sprint 5 with modded JDMFabtech rails fits good and is cheap , pretty comfortable but not the easiest thing to get in and out of with factory steering wheel . I like it for the price and is FIA along with much better support .

Most of the Saprcos will not fit in a S2000 without some seat and/or interior mods. I think the Rev plus, EVO and Sprint are the only ones that will fit without some mods.

Its true mainly if you have a closer seating position to the wheel. Im replacing my Sparco Evo2 (daily driven) for the Sparco ADV Pro. I have Club spec seat rails and in the back position it doesnt touch the cars interior but when moved up the transmission tunnel does get narrower and the shoulder wing touches the door but still closes easily.
So if your taller than most than you will not have to worry too much about fitment since the back area has the most room.

Bride vios - a little pricey but far more comfortable and easier to get in and out of than my old sprint. But the sprint cannot be beat for $/value.

I know have moved my vios into the passenger and rock this (me ruvy wrong time)

shoulder checking is overrated anyway

Thanks for the tips.

If anyone knows someone with a sparco street roadster within the mid-atlantic states I would drive a reasonable distance to test sit.

Also, any know of any speed shops that stock seats in the midatlantic other than OG racing?
