If the SPCs are going to eat out the A-arms anyway, maybe I'll just have them welded into the arm so they don't move….

I installed hooks to the sub frame, with the sub frame bolt to tie my car down. I used two 90s in front, and two 45s in the rear.

I keep meaning to do that. I really should. Do you perchance have a picture of the car strapped down? Any difficulty getting up and under to hook and unhook the straps?

^^^
+1 to that.
Of course I just had some SPC's installed only to find they slipped after an 11 hour tow to an event. Then 1 got stripped during the re-alignment so epic fail weekend. Then I came home to find this thread, I had assumed they were working well for people. Other than pulling the tops in rather than pushing the bottoms out I had not read any bad comments. Those strap hooks and the now properly torqued joints will hopefully lead me to happy days!

At least based the image he's using, those are 911 tie-down brackets:

I'd be interested in answers to the same questions as CKit..

Right now with my enclosed trailer it's hard to get underneath but doable. Approach from the side is a no-go unlike an open trailer.

I welded my rear left in place before going to spring nats... broke right at the heat Affected Zone. learn from my mistake lol
If anything. Have someone tig the pressed in spc plate onto the bottom of the arm. make sure its done 360 else again you could end up like i did. Then bolt together as usual. If i were to do it again (which i am going to) thats what i would do.

I need to take a few pictures. I have been meaning to. I will get that done when I have time next week.

The fronts are easy. The hooks are just inside the wheel well aft of the wheel. So I pass the tie down under the car inside the tire and attach it.

The rear is harder but that is due to my short trailer. The rear of the car hangs off the trailer by 1 ft. So I mounted the hooks on the front of the rear sub frame. So I have to lean under the car and hook them. If my trailer was longer I would have used the rear most sub frame bolts
