Default SportsCar STR/STRL coverage

We're writing the article on STR and STRL for SportsCar.

If anyone has a burning excuse or gripe or particular insight that they want to share, feel free to post here and I might be able to work it in.

Seems like the courses were pretty car / power / gearing dependent and tire choice and setups sank some very good drivers.

no excuses here. I couldn't adapt quick enough both on setup and driving. These courses demanded both and rewarded those who were ready for the challenge. Car was the same as the Pro and yet handled very differently.

Mine was the same - changed nothing from the pro but handled differently. Manageable on day 1 but day 2 the car was basically undrivable and I just couldn't get it right. Of course day 2 didn't matter muchfor me since my best hope going into day 2 was moving up into the tail end of the trophies but it mattered for Tory and David. Tory said it wasn't bad...worse than normal but not horrible, so it probably had a lot to do with heat and/or OPR as to why it was that bad for David and me.

Obviously you know about the rain on day 1. While it didn't have a huge effect, obviously, I think it did decrease grip a little. Looking at the data David fixed a bunch of mistakes from his first run on later runs but the times were slower, so he stood on his 1st run. Not to mention the obvious effect of the rain - for example for me I was playing it super safe since I knew it could start deluging rain any second and knew I needed a clean run in case that happened. Not to mention being stressed out because of it.
