Spring rate update?
Just checking in to see what spring rates people are running now. I did a search and found a thread from back in '03. At that time, I saw rates from 10Kgf/mm F & 8 Kg/mm R (davepk, I think) to 13 F / 14 R (krazik). Those seem pretty soft for dedicated race cars, as I'm running 10F/10R on my dual-purpose car and it feels relatively cushy to me. I'm just wondering if any of those have changed. I saw a TTC build recently where the guy was running 16/14 and considering upgrading to 18/16. Of course, that car probably weighed in at 2800lbs vs the 2300-2500 of the dedicated track cars.
So, I'd be interested to hear what spring rates people are running now, what dampers they're using, what their competition weight is (if known), and what you think of your setup.
