Spring Rates on a Lightened Car
I have my car stripped down to about 2,400 lbs. and the stock suspension is on its way out in favor of upgrades. This is my first stripped-out track dedicated car, so I have no idea what to shoot for as far as spring rates are concerned. The car will see some minimal street driving to and from the track, but my primary concern is track performance.
Any suggestions on what spring rates to run and what to expect?
Thanks for your input!!

I was going to start at 1" lower than stock and then go from their. And yes, I will be correcting roll centers.
I understand about the tire compounds, and to be honest I dont know. Not an r compound though at least at first since I dont have experience using them and would not know how to maximize their potential.
