That 12:1 weight to power ratio in TT4 is going to be a bit tricky to achieve in an AP1, especially if they include a tire size modifier for smaller width tires (as they do in TT3).

It's an Avg number and with modifiers that's really mid to low 11's:1 Using ST3 modifiers Mine came up at 11.4:1 At 2750lbs that's 241whp AVG. My current is 255whp avg so I either need to add weight or drop the limiter a few hundred RPM.

I think Mathmatically most S2000's are around 205-210whp avg in TTC trim. So that's a base weight in TT4 of like 2300lbs. Yea that's gonna be tough.

I was doing 215whp, 2715, TTC*. I don't know that I can drop 300+ lbs, nor do I think I can get more hp.

How on earth did you get a Dyno reclass that light and that much power. The TTC car I hold the record at sebring in Got 216whp and 2900lbs as it's dyno reclass.

Hell the FRS I ran in D got TTD* at 2850 and 176whp.

Maybe Greg likes me better? My old 2013 relcass without an * was around 12.86:1. With the star is about 12.63. No idea why he stuck you with 13.4. There's a thread on here where people listed their p:w and I think we were all the same ratio. Was it an S2000?

Not trying to be dramatic but thinking of selling my car.

12.86 P:W is what I got too for my TTC reclass. 2855/222. The 216/2900 car got a different reclass because it was a turbo s2k.

I recently weighed my car and it was 2705 lbs with full tank without driver. I figure I can get it down to a competition weight of 2700 lbs with driver (185 lbs) and 2 gallons of fuel. I don't think I can realistically lose much more weight than that and still keep the car enjoyable off the track (AC, audio, side windows, cruise control). That means an average WHP of 225 at least. That's going to be tough to do! Any tips Mrsideways?

Edit: just read your Sig. K swap. Never mind then.

I had an email conversation with Greg regarding this exact issue. I tried to explain to him that the s2000 (even with reclass) is a 13:1 car, and I really encouraged him to publish TT5 at the same time as 4. My reclass was also 12.86:1 (2765/215).

Reading the NASA thread, and using the dyno charts from my de-tuned car, I was around 205 hp, using the new "avg hp" formula. Absent modifiers, that's 2870lbs at 14:1, where I think TT5 will fall. I think cars without crazy weight loss or engine work, will better fit TT/ST5.
Just my opinion.

That being said, due to my recent engine loss; I'll be spending crazy money and running ST4.

TT5 needs to happen this year too, S2k in PT4 will be a waste. I might not run next year as there's no way I am spending the money to get the power I need. Caged car will never make that P/W.
