Stainless brake line
I don't know if this is the right section for this but I was trying to do my stainless brake lines today and holy f'n blah blah curse word curse word I can't get the oe lines off. Where the brake lines meet the hardline it won't budge without stripping the fitting. I already stripped one on the drivers front and had to go buy a new hard line. Any tips or anything before I strip anymore haha this could get expensive.
Another thing I made myself a line wrench by cutting a slot in one of my cheapy craftsmen wrenches and even that would start to strip the fitting.

this should solve your problem...
get a hold of a Snap-On flare nut double end 6pt metric 10/12 wrench... these are by far the best line wrenches ever made. they are beefy and wont bend out like the craftsman ones. if you 've stripped them beyond the point of no return... try using a vise grip and lock them in tight...
these worked wonders for me and my brother when we were growing up wrenching for a living.
good luck.

1) There is no reason to even be doing this. The OEM brake hoses are just fine.
2) What exactly are you doing? What do you mean "stripping the fitting"? Are you rounding off the corners? If so, just get a better flare nut wrench (as in, one that is not a dremel tool lashup jobbie).

Interested in hearing a better solution.
