Default Steets of Willows

Who's coming?

I'm gonna be there. So's Dave.

Doug's probably gonna race w/ TCRA. Maybe the NSX won't be done in time and he'll have to come play w/ us.

I see a 1:29-1:28 for me -evil laugh-

Hmm so are people gonna want rides? Should I bring my passenger seat?

Lately people have said they do then they never materialize.

That depends Rylan...

Did you put in a roll cage?!?

What about that "Oh Shit' handle people have been asking for?

Will you let us out if we flip you the sign like your fiance does?

Do you have any adult pampers?

Can I purchase dramamine at the track?

No.

If you get sick I can let you out next lap.

You can actually wedge yourself in pretty well. But no oh shit bars.

Not sure why you guys are afraid of me.

The tech form on the site seems to imply that street tires require 2/32nds of tread. Since streets is a relatively slow track, can this rule be overlooked? I've got a set of very sticky, but low tread S02s which I'd like to finish off. I'd hate to chunk my brand new set of street tires, especially the day before an auto-x championship.

How hard is this track on the brakes? Do I need to change my brake pads and/or fluid? I've got probably 40% front and 60% rear (OEM pads).

I'll be bringing the 350Z out once again, but this time on race tires. Thanks for the tip about Vilven tire. It was by far the cheapest place to get the Toyo RA1's. Got them shaved and ready to go. 275/17R and 255/17F.

My goal is to get into the '33's, but that might be unrealistic. I'll be happy with '34's. I ran a 1:39.3 on street tires during the hottest part of the day last time and I missed the last session when it cooled off. I am sure there was another .5 in the car that day.

The times will tell. Come by and say hi!
