Anyone have the weight of a stock seat?

it's not that much. I don't have an exact weight but I'd guess 15-20 lbs. It's about the same weight as my recaro bucket, maybe a little more.

I recall 37-39 lbs.
Erik, the seat rail alone on your recaro is 15-20 lbs.

Seat and mounting bracket weigh in at 32lbs if I remember correctly. Recaro SPG and Taitec shave off 15 lbs.

In that case I would have to add the weight of the roll hoops, transverse beam, and stock belts to the stock seats, in which case the difference would once again be large.

No, because we are just talking about swapping seats and the associated weight difference. If we follow your thinking, then you would have to add the rollbar so the difference shifts in the other direction, to heavier with the race seat .
