So we are confirmed that the standard 18'' GT7 wheel package from TireRack clears a Stoptech BBK without spacers? And can you run 215/245 tires, lowered, with slightly flared fenders, without rubbing??

 

i have a few questions, is the rear kit available? which size rotor is it using?

are the rear brakes for all model year s2ks one piece non vetilated? if so are there other kits besides the stoptech offering that enable you to run a vetilated rotor in the rear?

 

Rear kit is available for sale. It uses a 322x22 vented directional rear rotor w/ a 2 piston caliper which also deletes the parking brake.

 

Well anyways... back on topic... if you dont mind... how mcuh did you pay for that kit... I've seen some of the stoptech kits for the NSX and my are they beefy..

 

Why didn't you make a parking brake caliper option? Seems to me you could have just built a wing off of the main caliper adapter fitting to attach a parking brake caliper off to one side of the main caliper.

I personally have had my brake hydraulics fail on a couple of cars so having a backup cable-operated brake is indispensible imo.

 

is there a way to retrofit a parking brake caliper or something?

 

is stoptech willing to help customize if someone decides to purchase these and run them with stoptech ventilated rotors?

Are you able to fabricate some sort of drum brake system if you can't add another set of caliper for the E brake?

I got 2 workshops to extensively investigate this option for me and I still have my stock oem rear system on atm. I remove my ABS unit and have a 6pot Stoptech at the front. I think there is a lot of front bias and my car would lock up the front first if there is any water on the tarmac. I would love to have a bit more rear bias but still need the E brake. I hope you will have a solution soon.

BTW the front stoptech BBK is a lot lighter than the OEM smaller brake
