For what its worth, I ran the following setup on my "fun-STR" (non-competitive SCCA STR spec) MY00 AP1:
  • Stock intake/exhaust/tune
  • Karcepts 0.250" wall front sway bar on the softer side (1-3) depending on course. (no longer on the car for track-day reasons)
  • 1-off prototype Flatout Suspension ST52 Dual Digressive Coilovers. 12kF/10kR spring rate.
  • -2.5deg camber all around.
  • 0deg toe front/0.14deg per wheel toe-in rear
  • 6.5deg caster.
  • 13.0" Ride height front/rear hub center to fender
  • Various (RE71R, RS4, RT615K+) 255/40r17 tires mounted on 17x9 +60 Enkei PF01SS wheels.
The Karcepts front bar provided positive results and adjustability. Would highly recommend. I do know here in the north east, RedShift Motorsports has a good reputation in both autox circles, and track circles. I wouldn't know specifically in the S2k community. I've thought about moving to his Race-Valve overhauled single adjustable BC's when my Flatout coilovers finally give up as they're no longer rebuildable due to unknown parts make up.

I have a full road race MX5 Scca T4 or nasa specmx5 so my s2k is for the street, fun curvy roads, and parking lot autox only. Sounds like karcepts is the way to go for bars but hoping to find a former serious str guy who wants to part with his coil overs because the ND is more competitive.
