Anyone weighed any of the commercial rails/sliders? Like the buddy club or taitec?

Jake's option seems to be about 8.5 lbs, that's pretty good. Thanks for sharing that.

Trying to decide how light the seat needs to be to hit the minimum of 25 lbs.

Mine were 10 lbs for my old STI. Those were the Buddy Club ones.

I'm debating moving the Sparco to the passenger side and installing a Cobra Imola Pro (15 or 16 pounds) on the driver side to better fit my build. The Sparco is a little wide for me (135 lbs, 28" waist). The Cobra Imola Pro seats I've installed in other cars fit my build like a glove but cost ~2X the Sparco.

The Cobra seats have a trapezoid mounting pattern (wider in the front, narrower in the back). The Sparco and stock seats have a rectangular mounting pattern (front and rear holes are same width apart). The Cobra seats would not lend themselves to my mount design as well as the Sprint V does.

I'm at 2444 lbs now (1109 kg) with 1/3 tank of fuel.

I can see another 20-30 kg by gutting more bits.

Not sure if I will do the A pillars but I may take out the dash and heater. I have Lexan windows all round so that's why I've kept the heater but I may just get a small electric one (rains a lot in the UK.

I'd like the Challenge trunk and T1R Ti exhaust too.

As awesome as that is, it's not an SCCA Solo STR class built car. Our rules are MUCH more restrictive than the things you've done!

I've finally gotten close to the limit of things I can modify. I still need to weigh it. I'd like to place a v-band and a downturn after the resonator first, if I can.

Maybe I passed over it in this thread, but can we remove the spark plug cover? It has a little weight to it, and wouldn't it be considered a cosmetic piece?

Nevermind, I see it says plastic pieces only.

While my "interest" thread is now in limbo or deleted, here are some images of 2-piece rear rotor set I made (FOR MYSELF).

About to begin testing them. Hopefully they wear well. I'm using Carbotech XP10s to start with.

Good question, I know that the old blue Bauer(Gill) CR at 2011 nationals was missing it.
