STR Prep - Weight Reduction

Does anybody have a verified difference in weight between an AP1, an AP2V2, and a CR (-39lbs I believe?). The lightest STR prep AP1 I've seen is the one that was 2nd at 2011 nationals at 2580lbs. Curious if the AP2V2 is capable of 2600 or is a 2650 car or...?
Thank you,

My car was weighed at the Colorado ProSolo, back to back to back with AP1-AP2V2-CR.
My link
I dropped a few lbs after that weigh in, hence the 2580lbs reported. I was actually a little heavy on fuel at Nationals (sorry Nick), because I never had fuel starvation and didn't want to start on a higher grip surface. Probably 2590lbs or so. I have since lost a few more lbs off the car (8), and expect to drop another 30-40lbs in the off season.
Marc what all have you taken 0of your car? My ap1 is at 2661 with 3/4 tank of gas and I ony know of 25 or so more pounds I can take off.
ps- I realize scales very and we cant compare our numbers exactly but verying 100lbs is a bit extreme.

The link sums it up well. Intake, header, cat, exhaust all save weight. I also have a 6lbs battery, lightweight pullies, and lightweight drivers seat. My suspension saves a lot of weight as well. I'm not doing anything unheard of, I'm just selecting the lightest components available for the task.
Those weights are with 4 bars fuel. That is probably 35lbs less weight than you, with no other changes. That narrows the gap pretty quickly.

Looking back over my weights from national tours, shops, etc, my weights (same B-Stock setup every time) vary from low 2600s to low 2800s ... sometimes on the same scales. The most consistent weight is around the 2650-2710 range. There is no magical light weight S2000s out there. If one car is lighter than everyone else on the same scales with the same mods, same day ... there is something not disclosed. Do what you can legally and move on. We know the lightest cars will be consistently weighing in around the high 2500lb range. I have not weighed my car in STR trim yet.

My car was weighed at Nationals with about 3/4 tank and came out to 2742. That was unfortunetly not with me in it. Weight saving mods were:
9 lb Braille battery
24 lbs (I think) T1R 70R EM-Limited Exhaust
No idea on the Moton Clubsports since they have external reservoirs. The was was weighed with 949 Racing wheels and Hankook RS-3s. I also have the hallow 1.250" Gendron bar. So basically my car is a pig.
I only weigh 148 lbs though, so that counts as a weight mod...

Has anyone made a excel sheet to keep track of weight reduction? I'm working on my "black book" and I'm having a hard time with this. I'm looking for a spead sheet that has "Item, Weight, Aftermarket Item, Weight, Savings/Gain." I didn't weight much of anything I put on the car. I really really wish I did though. So I'm looking for someone that has a spread sheet with all the weights of the factory pieces that are changed in STR and if you have weights of stuff you've added I might have a couple of these mods.
The only way to really go back and figure all of this out is to take everything back off the car weight it and then put it back on. Which would be a pain. I'm gonna try to search and find the weights of most of the parts but it's going to take hours and I'm sure someone has got to have a resourse like this somewhere.

I'm gonna start on a spread sheet here in a bit. I'll post what I have any what I need once I complete it. Thank nlink, thats a good start.
Stock shocks all together only weight 40.8 LBS, thiers no way in the world you could save 35 pounds in shocks. With my triple adj JRZ's im actually gaining 7.7 LBS over stock.

Well I've spent 2 hours working on this spread sheet. I've found all the weights to everything but...
OEM front ball joint
J's s1 camber joint
Gendron 1.25 solid bar
not counting the listed above my S2000 has saved 178 LBS. If someone can post the weights for this then i can finish the sheet. Am I missing anything from my list of legal weight reduction?
this is the weights of the OEM things I can think of that we can legally change. Is thier any other weight reduction mods we can do that arn't listed on this list.
OEM Trunk stuff 51.00
OEM Intake 10.40
OEM Header 24.00
OEM Cat 12.40
OEM AP1 00 Front Bar 10.35
OEM AP1 00 Rear Bar? 8.20
OEM Catback Exhaust 54.00
OEM AP1 Front Wheels 17.50
OEM AP1 Rear Wheels 18.60
OEM 00 Front Tires 24.00
OEM 00 Rear Tires 26.00
OEM Front Shocks 9.60
OEM Rear Shocks 10.80
OEM Battery 30.00
OEM 00 Driver Seat 34.00
OEM 00 Passenger Seat 33.00
OEM Front Ball Joints ?????????
OEM floor Matts 2.00
OEM Washer Fluid? 6.00 (not sure how much it holds)
OEM Accessory Pullies 2.65
OEM Crank Pulley 4.38
Help me out guys!
