Are you sure about the weight of those 949 wheels? I thought they weighed more than advertised after seeing someone post up a pic of one on a scale. I could be wrong.

IIRC, these are the numbers Bill gave me when we did the 1.375" group buy in 2008:

1.25" solid: 19 lbs.
1.375" hollow: 15 lbs.

OEM ball joints are 1 lb 14 oz.
Js racing replacements are 1 lb 9 oz

My 949 wheels averaged 17 lb 5 oz each, without the center cap.

Also, my 1.25 hollow center section, with .25 wall thickness, weighs 7 lb 15 oz.

Thanks for all the weights guys!

I got ahold of bill, hes a great guy and is a talker! He jokingly said "he's thier to answe our questions and doesn't mind us calling at all. He pulled out all his sheets and told me the weights of all his bar with mounts and links included. the list is..

1.375 hollow bar 17 lbs
1.25 solid bar 19 lbs
1.25 .25 wall bar 15 lbs

As some one has stated he did make two 1.25 hollow bars but he said that only a couple have eer been made and no one really has that bar. So thats cleared up.

Bill also said that if your only using the stiffest 3 holes on the bar he can cut off the other 3 holes and save alittle over a pound. So a 1.25 hollow bar could weight 14 pounds. Go to the swaybar thread for my other news bill said I can share with the world.

I wonder if the 1.375 bar included ball bearing mounts and the solid bar weight didn't. He told me there was 4 pounds difference between the solid bar and monster bar when I ordered mine.

Like I said I just talked to him and he read it off from his spread sheet to me. Their is a 4 lbs difference between the hollow 1.25 bar and the 1.25 solid bar. The 1.375 hollow bar is in the middle of the two at 17 lbs.

I've got my spreed sheet saying my car weights 2555.3 with half tank of gas and on the scales in nashville I was 2661. So thats within a gallon of fuel or so. I have the starting weight as 2809 with half a tank. So i'm liking this new found data!

That's what he told me back in June when I bought my 1.25" hollow bar (4 lbs between hollow and solid 1.25" bars)
