If it's just the spare and tools, then this number is way off (I'd guess ~25lbs).

If it's more than the spare and tools, then that man is a cheater.

just weighed my car last week (was gonna get it corner balanced but the shop failed miserably...long story) and was surprised it only weighed 2741 without me in it with one bar over half tank. i have ZERO weight reduction only mods were ct-eng intake kwv3 suspension with saner front bar and wheels and tires.

since then i upgraded to trm-c-3 wheels and a berk 3inch exhaust so i should be at the 2700 range. i reckon that's good for a late model ap1 (03). what legal mods am i missing?

Exhaust is probably the biggest one... Don't forget seats though.

Weights for Evasive spec Eibach Multi Pros (as per my home scale) are 13.4 lbs front and 11.2 lbs rear. I actually picked up a little bit from my stock MY04 shocks with Tein S tech springs which were 11.2 front and 13.0 rear.

Thank you random1. This is the kind of documentation this thread should be based on! If people like yourself make a point to weight as many things as they can this thread could be a amazing resource!

Good job

A digital fish scale. Typically they go up to 50 lbs. Cheap and accurate.

Something like this:

How much weight can you save by putting in lightweight seats?

I put "lightweight seats" in my car, and gained a bit of weight relative to stock seats. The stock seats are quite light.

I have the OMP RSPT2, and the drivers seat with bottom and side mounts weighs the same as stock. The passenger seat with bottom/side mounts and sliders is heavier than stock.
