I daily drive my Dunlops that I compete on. The Dunlops I ran at Nats were daily driven and driven to the event from New Orleans. They got me .051 from the win. I would suspect that they are not heat cycling out.
Not to mention that if you had done what barbato was talking about you would have won the national championship by 5 seconds or something?
Yeah, that too. I MUST LOWER VTEC!

Anyone have a solid weight on a Volk CE28N 17x9 +63? I've heard 14.0-15.5 LBS. I'd like to know a exact weight from someone thats has weighted one before I debate buying a set in the future.

^I think they are on the higher end of that weight range. I want to say the lightest 17x9 I knew of was the Buddy Club QF and then possibly the Weds TC105N next.

Buddy clubs are impossible to find. Do you have a true weight on the weds? I like the volks but that's a large investment/gamble without knowing a exact weight before buying a set.

I won't be buying the this season but it'd be nice to loose 8 lbs over by current 949s.

edit- The wed wheels only come in a 49 offset. We need atleast 60 so that isn't even a wheel we could run in str.

The RG-D are 16.8-17.2 so they arn't even light at all.

I did see this today though...

Im interested in what they weight. If it's sub 15 LBS and they come in silver or custom colors I'm in.

I tried to find out what they weigh, mind you not very hard, but didn't come up with anything. I won't be getting rid of my set of Buddy Clubs though anytime soon!

Depends on the way you look at it, for a 17x9 +60mm wheel, it is in fact on the "lightweight" side of the spectrum. Maybe not the lightest and certainly not worth the $600+ pricetag each IMO...

Other than the CE28 they might also be the next best looking option available. For some people it's all about weight, others price, but for some they want a wheel that looks great too. I'd still consider it reasonably light. I won't say it's heavy.

And anyone selling a set of the older 17x9 +55 SSR comps? The ones with the polished lip? If someone has a set and they are in good enough shape I'll pay good money to get my hands on a set.
