I would try 1/4 turn increments. I did this with my TC Klines and Koni Yellows which have a similat adjustment know for rebound.

Two of my KWV3s are the old version with round plastic knobs and no clicks for the top rebound setting, two of them are the newer version that use a hex key and have clicks. Ok... so what fraction of a turn does a "click" equal to?

For the top, rebound adjusters 6 clicks = 1 full turn.
