T1R single ehaust Who makes it?
Who makes the T1R exhaust. where can I learn about it, what are peoples impression of this exhaust as a racing exhaust. I am considering a single with test pipe.
Hi,
I am not sure who makes it but I have it. I can tell you that this exhaust seems to give great gains at the high rpm range yet sacrificing hp/tq at the low end. I do not have a dyno to prove this, but this is from seat of the pants experience. Also, it is quite loud, but for a race car it is great...especially since you will be in the high rev's all the time anyways. Also, this exhaust is very light, seems to weigh around 20 or so lbs.
I use my car as a daily driver and I just put the stock back on with the t1r test pipe because it was too loud for me every day.

T1R is our home brand company products. They are currently made in Japan. We have good feed backs and results from customer who had them. Here's a dynoplot off my car and I have also seen similar plots done by other s2k owners.

Thanks

I don't mean to be sound like a dick but I have to call
on the dyno chart. I just can't believe that THIS exhaust adds 12 hp when no other exhaust has been proven to add more than 3-5 Hp or so. Please help me here.

Wait, "test pipe and exhaust" is not the same as exhaust. So this magic dyno is with the cat removed eh?

^ It is BS. Comparing an exhaust to exhaust with test pipe is not valid. Its comparing apples to oranges.
I'm sure that if I put a test pipe on with my Spugen Single, I could get close to the same gains.
